Although it's still expensive, you may find the most savings in this city.
Taylor Swift performs on stage during the “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour” at Wembley Stadium on August 15, 2024 in London, England.
Are you ready for it?
Since its kickoff in March 2023, tens of millions of fans have clamored to attend one of the 152 shows making up Taylor Swift's Eras Tour — which has become highest-grossing tour in history.
And for good reason: this three-hour concert by the most prolific and talented songwriter of our generation will rock your world. (Is my bias showing?)
Thankfully, there are still a few chances left to see this global blockbuster stateside before Swift takes her final bow in December 2024 — Swift and crew will return for another North American leg and perform three concerts each in Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis before heading to Canada to close out the tour with six shows in Toronto and three in Vancouver — but it’ll cost you.
While there’s no way to see the Eras Tour for cheap anymore, here’s a breakdown of how low you can go when considering ticket cost, airfare, and hotel rates.
How to See Taylor Swift for Less
Due to extraordinary demand, all shows sold out almost instantaneously, so the only way to grab Eras Tour tickets now is through ticket marketplaces like StubHub. Unfortunately, resale tickets are eye-wateringly marked-up.
“Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is undoubtedly the best-selling tour of all time on StubHub, and the demand we have seen for this bucket-list event is unprecedented,” Joseph Bocanegra, StubHub spokesperson, shared with Travel+Leisure.
“For fans looking to still buy tickets, we recommend buying right away if you see something in your price range because if these stops follow the same trends as her US shows last summer, prices are not guaranteed to drop as we get closer to the concert.”
For better chances of scoring low(er) prices, StubHub advises fans to consider going solo: “Searching for single tickets may yield better prices than searching for group tickets. This is a trend that has become popular with Swifties, and with such a passionate fan base, you’ll never feel alone.”
However, there’s still potential deals to be had on flights and hotels, which can balance some of the concert cost.
“For the stateside Swifties out there, you’re in luck with airfare because late October into early November is not considered peak season when it comes to pricing,” Going travel expert Katy Nastro told Travel+Leisure. Still, “with tour dates just around the corner, travelers might find themselves outside the optimal ‘Goldilocks Window’ suggested by Going, which is normally one to three months before travel dates for domestic flights.”
Is It Better to Buy Flights and Eras Tour Tickets Now or Wait Until the Last Minute?
If you’re considering flying to the Eras Tour, Nastro advises booking any budget-friendly flight you find as soon as possible.
“This way, you’ll secure your flight and can take advantage of the 24-hour rule while you sort out other details.” (When you book directly with an airline, you have 24 hours to cancel and receive a full refund, no questions asked.)
Going’s team of flight experts created an Eras Tour USA Deal that finds deals departing from your chosen US airport and sends alerts for any meeting Going’s criteria of 40 to 90% off standard prices for that weekend. You can register to see if your home airport has deals to Eras Tour cities. Nastro divulges: “Most of the deals we found are flying into Indianapolis.”
Flight Tip
This year Southwest added special flights to Eras Tour cities just in time for her fall shows.
Some fans wonder whether more concert tickets will become available closer to the tour dates.
“It’s hard to say for certain if more tickets will become available because StubHub is a fluid marketplace,” StubHub stated on background. “However, for last year’s Eras Tour stop in Los Angeles, as we neared the few days before each show, there were around 1,000 tickets available — which might sound like a lot, but compared to SoFi Stadium’s capacity of 70,000, it was actually a small percentage of the overall tickets.”
And do prices tend to decrease or increase as the dates get closer?
StubHub told Travel+Leisure, “We do see prices drop in some cases when there’s a lot of inventory; however, that’s not a trend we’ve seen with the Eras Tour, which is why we recommend fans purchase right away if they see something in their price point.”
So, all things considered, which US city is the cheapest place to see Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour?
Miami (Oct. 18-20)
When factoring in the cost of a concert ticket, airfare, and accommodations, the Miami shows are currently the second-cheapest option for fans hoping to make last-minute concert plans.
According to StubHub, the average price of tickets sold is around $2,660 for Miami. The lowest listing is $1,140 on Friday, $1,130 on Saturday, and $1,000 on Sunday, though of course prices are fluid and change as people list and buy tickets.
The greater Miami area holds the top third spot on Going’s list of cheapest cities to fly into for 2024, and Going is seeing roundtrip flight prices from across the country between $230 to $390+ with flexibility on timeframe (like arriving earlier in the week or departing the week after the concert), while those looking to fly in only for the weekend can expect to pay between $385 to $665 roundtrip — pricier, but it will decrease the number of nights you have to pay for a hotel.
Note that flying with a low-cost carrier like Spirit or Frontier may present lower starting prices, but these fares don’t include a carry-on, seat selections, or other basic amenities. Some examples of concert-weekend roundtrip fares from major US cities on full-service airlines are:
As for accommodations, there are deals to be found on HotelTonight; currently, the lowest price in the Miami area during the concert weekend is $209 per night.
Miami lowest possible total: approximately $1,441
If money’s no object and a memorable experience is the priority, many Miami hotels are offering themed packages for Taylor Swift weekend.
At The Elser Hotel & Residences, guests arrive to a “bejeweled” welcome mocktail, friendship bracelet–making kit, and bathrooms stocked with products rumored to be in Swift’s own lineup; The Eras Tour film and Taylor Swift songs will play all day long on the pool deck, and transportation to and from the stadium is provided. The Gabriel South Beach has a package with similar perks plus a personal pre-concert stylist; The Balfour Hotel’s “Bejeweled at The Balfour” package will ensure fans are concert-ready with face gems, glitter, body jewelry, and more; The Gates Hotel South Beach sends attendees off with a concert survival kit and a belly full of Pink Love Donuts.
New Orleans (Oct. 25-27)
As it stands, New Orleans is the cheapest city to see the Eras Tour, but not by much.
According to StubHub, out of the remaining US stops, New Orleans has the lowest average price of tickets sold at around $2,315. The lowest listing is $1,000 on Friday and Saturday and $920 on Sunday, though of course prices are fluid and change as people list and buy tickets.
During the weekend of the concert, Going is seeing roundtrip flight prices from across the country between $190 to $335 with flexibility on timeframe, while those looking to fly in only for the weekend can expect to pay between $650 to $805 roundtrip.
Some examples of concert-weekend roundtrip fares from major US cities on full-service airlines are:
As for accommodations, there are deals to be found on HotelTonight; currently, the lowest price in the New Orleans area during the concert weekend is $119 per night.
New Orleans lowest possible total: approximately $1,231
Indianapolis (Nov. 1-3)
Currently, Indianapolis is the least affordable city to see the Eras Tour in the US (though, admittedly, none are cheap!).
According to StubHub, the average price of tickets sold is around $2,800 for Indianapolis. The lowest listing is $1,590 on Friday and Saturday and $1,580 on Sunday, though of course prices are fluid and change as people list and buy tickets.
During the weekend of the concert, Going is seeing roundtrip flight prices from across the country between $170 to $240 with flexibility on timeframe, while those looking to fly in only for the weekend can expect to pay between $275 to $405 roundtrip.
Some examples of concert-weekend roundtrip fares from major US cities on full-service airlines are:
As for accommodations, there are deals to be found on HotelTonight; currently, the lowest price in the Indianapolis area during the concert weekend is $270 per night.

Note that all of the aforementioned prices are subject to change, and the concert ticket prices do not reflect taxes and StubHub fees.
